A few words from my clients:

Laura – I started training with Ian 4 months ago following a pelvic stress fracture through running.
I was apprehensive at my first session.. I’ve never really liked the gym and had never really done any form of weight training but didn’t want to loose my new found fitness that I had gained through running. After my first session I was hooked and I’ve been coming every week since.

Ian is lovely. He has become my personal trainer and therapist… excellent when needing to unload after a stressful week at work. We train hard but often have a giggle too (usually about my lack of coordination) so it’s not all sweat and tears.
Ian’s own personal gym is perfect. You have the gym entirely to yourself for your session so your never made to feel insecure as you sometimes can in commercial gyms.

Since training with Ian I have improved my physical strength, gained some muscle and improved my posture… yesterday I went on my first training run back since my Injury and of course Ian was there every step of the way!
I would highly recommend to all levels of fitness, even complete newbies who have never set foot in a gym (you’ll soon feel right at home).


Ben – I began training with Ian in an attempt to lose some much needed weight after being described as clinically obese by my doctor and being told of the damage I was doing to my overall health. Ian has achieved significant weight loss himself so is perfectly equipped to offer both nutritional and exercise advice to his clients. He tailors workout routines and exercises that assist with weight loss, but not only this, he educates his clients so that they are able to make their own informed choices themselves. I have learnt so much.

I am still on my weight loss journey, but with Ian’s help I am seeing significant improvements in my overall strength and fitness as well as much needed changes to my overall body shape and weight.

Ian is willing to share his own expert knowledge and couples this with his own personal weight loss journey. He will answer any question you ask honestly and his advice on nutrition is excellent. He understands the difficulties that come with being overweight and the demands that exercise has on the body, but never stops encouraging you to achieve your goals.

Ian is enthusiastic, fun, committed, punctual and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend him highly enough!!

Kim – I started training with Ian a year ago at a bootcamp he was running. Somehow he managed to motivate me to do press ups in a cold, damp park far too early on a Saturday morning! Since then I have completed my first half marathon with the inspirational guidance and encouragement from Ian, something I never thought I’d do.

His personal training sessions have made me stronger and healthier whilst always working towards a personal goal. Ian always listens and teaches why each exercise is beneficial. The weight section in the gym is no longer scary but my favourite place!


Kristie – I signed up to be trained by Ian a year ago with the goal of losing weight, toning up and getting fit. To be fair, it was an ambitious goal to reach but I found that Ian was as dedicated to succeed as I was. Ian’s approach to personal training is understanding, supportive and encouraging which is exactly what I needed, ensuring a comfortable environment throughout each session.

The past year has completely changed my life in a truly wonderful way. I have lost 4 stone and am only 9 lbs away from my target weight. I am physically fit and mentally stimulated. The only way is up!!


Lizzie – I started training with Ian in a bid to lose some of the stubborn fat in various areas on my body and generally tone up. What I achieved with Ian’s help was far more than this! Using various exercises and techniques, my overall strength and fitness improved so much in a short space of time that I was able to perform exercises I would never have attempted on my own. Each workout is tailored to you, so you can achieve exactly what you have discussed.

I have learnt so much from Ian, he is willing to share his expert knowledge and answer any questions you come up with. His tips on nutrition are excellent and his dedication is clear. Being overweight himself in his past, he really understands the psychology behind the personal struggles people face to lose weight and therefore is sensitive and realistic with peoples’ goals as well as putting a smile on your face in every session. Ian is energetic, fun, committed and inspirational…and I can’t recommend him enough!

Rosy – Ian trained me for several sessions and it’s safe to say he’s dedicated. He taught me things that I still put in to practice today in my own training sessions, and he gave me the motivation to push myself. His constant praise helped me succeed and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to up their fitness game!

Sarah – Over two years ago I underwent major surgery and since then I have suffered from a serious back injury. My prolonged inactivity resulted in significant weight gain which I was very unhappy about, my confidence diminished and I felt like I had lost myself. On the advice of my physio I joined a gym in the hope that it would strengthen my back, improve my fitness, regain my confidence and self esteem and shed the extra weight.

During one of my workouts I noticed Ian putting someone through their paces and although slightly apprehensive, booked a session. Ian was very thorough going over my medical history and finding out what I wanted to achieve before we started. He worked with me to build a programme specifically to my needs, which we review and update each session. I am currently half way through my first block of sessions with Ian and have already noticed significant improvements, my strength and stamina have increased substantially, my weight is coming down and I am regaining my confidence.

Ian’s enthusiasm is contagious, through his motivation, knowledge, patience and support I have surprised myself and maybe Ian a little with how much we have achieved in such a short time. With thanks to Ian I am already fitter than I thought I could be and each session we go from strength to strength. This was a great decision and I would highly recommend Ian as a Personal Trainer. My results speak for themselves.
